Dimmable Fluorescent Encapsulite

A clear Encapsulite fluorescent fitting with a DMX dimmable ballast.

Our Dimmable Fluorescents are supplied with a DMX controlled ballast, which require hot power and DMX to operate.

Fluorescent tube T8 length 122cm ( 4′ ) available in cool white, daylight white, standard white or warm white.

If you require a specific colour temperature please let us know.

Tubes are available in various colour temperatures and can be coloured if required by using lighting filters, a strip cut from a sheet of Lee filter is the correct length for a 4′ tube. We can do this for you if requested.

The encapsulite fitting has a 1m cable with an XLR4 plug that connects to the XLR lead on the ballast so the fitting and ballast can be up to about 2m apart without needing any addition cables.

Each fluorescent requires it’s own ballast which requires hard power, not powered through a dimmer.

Power in / out: IEC lead approx 1m tails on each ballast, they can be linked together.

DMX: XLR5 leads in / out, approx 1m tails on each ballast.
